The {Meet}
We met during college in Boulder, Colorado in 2004 at a party of mutual friends. I set my sights on Andy right away and managed to catch him alone on the piano bench playing something random (because that's what you do at parties, right?). I sat down next to him and we played Canon in D -- the very song to which I walked down the aisle on October 16th. Yeah, it's pretty cheesy. You can't make this stuff up.

Our {Life}
He Andy is currently in a Mechanical Engineering PhD program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). His focus and research is in nanotechnology and micro-robotics, or as I like to call them, "baby robots". He is completely in love with legos and the obsession won't be going away anytime soon. She I am an Associate Business Analyst for a giant software engineering consulting firm. My job takes me far and frequently away -- India, Houston, and most recently I cross-country commute regularly to Portland, OR. When not on the road for work, I am trying new recipes in the kitchen, reading or amusing myself with the cats. | We
In the dead of winter in 2008 we moved from Colorado to Chicago's Lincoln Square (German Town). We now live in Wicker Park, a neighborhood, closer to the big city lights and really, really good burritos. We love our neighborhood and friends in Chicago and think it's the perfect place to be right now (concrete, wind and all!). |
{Fur} Babies
On June 5th, 2008, we adopted two sweet little fellas and have totally become those people who treat their pets like kids. Watch the video below to see why we're way behind on our Netflix queue.
